the Friends of Hemlock Gorge at the Emerson School, Pettee
Street, Newton Upper Falls.
- Saturday, October 8: Annual Fall
Cleanup of Hemlock Gorge. Volunteers should meet at Hamilton Place between 9:00 a.m. and 10:00 a.m.
Sponsored by the Friends of Hemlock Gorge, who provide a
map to Hamilton Place on their web site.
- Wednesday, October 12, at 9:30 p.m.:
Meeting of the Greater Boston Seniors Computer Group at the Newton Senior Center, 345 Walnut St, Newtonville.
Tom Seamans, a computer user since the 1960's, will be the speaker: "From
Squiggles to Symbols. A Look at MS WORD". Q & A sessions will
follow the presentation.
This is a repeat of a presentation given in March, when a snowstorm prevented many from attending
The GBSCG does not provide computer classes. Dues are $3 per meeting or
$20 per year.

Reservations are $20 per adult and $8 per child, and must be reserved by Friday October 14.

at Beth Menachem Chabad.
Lunch will be served in the sukkah, followed by blessing the lulav and etrog, games and a sukkah craft project. The cost is $7 per
