  • Tuesday, September 13, at 7:15 p.m.: meeting of the Friends of Hemlock Gorge at the Emerson School, Pettee Street, Newton Upper Falls.
  • Wednesday, September 14, at 9:30 a.m.: The first meeting of the 2005-2006 season of the Greater Boston Seniors Computer Group. Newton Senior Center, 354 Walnut St., Newtonville.
    "Lower Your Stress by Keeping Your Computer Healthy" will be the topic for a panel discussion, led by two members of the Board of Directors.

    • Claire Sokoloff

    Polls are open from 7:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m.
