All candidates who will appear on the Municipal ballot have been invited to participate in these forums at the NewTV studio. These public forums are being co-sponsored by the League of Women Voters and NewTV. They will be videotaped for later cablecast on the access channels. (Watch the Newton TAB for the schedule or visit the website www.newtv.org) The sponsors are providing this public service to give the candidates an opportunity to make their positions known and to help the voters make informed decisions at the polls.
The format each evening will allow for written questions from the audience.
The Municipal Election will be held on November 4. The polls will be open from 7 am to 8 pm. If you cannot get to the polls on Election Day, you can vote absentee. Call 617-796-1350 for information.
