Tuesday, January 9, at 7:15 p.m.: meeting of the Friends of Hemlock Gorge at the Emerson School, Pettee Street, Newton Upper Falls.
Tuesday, January 23, 7:00 a.m. -- 800 p.m.: Special Election on the Building of a New Newton North High School. This is a very controversial vote; I recommend starting with the Newton TAB's "Everything you wanted to know about Site Plan 5a but were too confused to ask" as a starting point. Disclaimer: The TAB has taken a position in this, but I feel the article itself is objective.
