Voter's Guide to the 1998 General Elections

ABOUT THE VOTERS' GUIDE

This voter's guide was compiled as a public service of the League of Women Voters of Newton and published by The Newton TAB. In this guide, the candidates respond to questions formulated by the League for offices in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts for State Representative, State Senator, District Attorney, Sheriff and Governor's Council. Candidates are limited to 75 words for question responses. The responses are edited only to conform to space limits, and any response that exceeded the word limit was cut at the limit.

Every candidate was contacted for a submission to the voter's guide. Those that did not respond are so indicated.

This voter's guide was produced by the following LWVN members: AnnaMaria Abernathy, Pat Acton, Jim Acton, Linda Cebula, Anne Larner, Margaret Leblanc, Linda Morrison and Lynne Sullivan.

Note: This page contains only those responses from candidates who are running for contested positions in the General Election.
